Y2系列三相異步電動機是采用新技術而開發的新系列，是Y系列電動機的升級換代產品.
Y2系列電機系全封閉、外扇冷式、鼠籠型結構。具有設計新穎、造型美觀、噪音低、效率高、轉矩高、起動性能好、結構緊湊、使用維護方便等特點。整機采用F級絕緣，且按國際慣例的絕緣結構評定方法設計，從而大大提高了整機安全可靠性。達到了國外同類產品先進水平。外殼防護等級IP54，冷卻方式IC411，連續工作（SI），額定電壓380V，額定頻率50Hz，功率3kw及以下為Y接法,4KW及以上規格為△接法。
Adopting new techniques, Y2 series three-phase asynchronous motors are the renewal and upgrading products of Y series.
Y2 series motors are defined as totally enclosed fan cooling squirrel cage type and noted for their novel design,beautiful modelling,low noise,high efficiency,large torque,excellent starting performance, compact strcucture, easy maintenance and etc.
This series motor adopts F class insulation,and is designed with assessing method for insulation system according to international practice, which greatly enhances motor’s safety and reliability. Therefore, Y2 series motors have reached an international advanced level of such kind of products. IP54 degree of covering protection, IC411 cooling method,continuous duty(sl), 380V rated voltage and 50Hz rated frequency, For motor of 3KW and below,the stator windings are connected in Y ,while for 4KW and above are in △.
