Back home in Dallas
Well, it figures. You go to marry off your youngest child and something major like the Standing Committee meeting in London happens. OY! The “minutes” that were published daily by the new press officer for the Anglican Communion Office give a hint of what occurred at these meetings. But only a hint.
An item I did not cover includes the CANA (Convocation of Anglican in North America) meeting in Virginia with the Rt. Rev. Martyn Minns and the Most Rev. Nicholas Okoh of Nigeria at the helm. Both had strong words to say about TEC’s consecration of another gay bishop – which were promptly ignored by most media outlets.
