Special note: Today is the first time that either House will have more than 1 ½ hours in legislative session. Prior to today, sessions have been short and basically organizational. I was told this morning that the Title IV canons on discipline for bishops and clergy, have been revised and are greatly improved. They should come to the House of Bishops this weekend. Revision of this Canon has been “in the works” since 2000.
